About PestX

PestX is a ChatGPT plugin published by Pest X LLC. It provides company information, training references, and assistance with pest control documentation, including service notes, customer communications, and treatment graphs.

By using PestX, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Informational Assistance

PestX generates responses using artificial intelligence. Responses may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Review all responses before relying on them, sharing them, or adding them to customer or company records.

PestX does not replace an inspection, professional judgment, required training, or advice from a qualified professional.

Pesticide and Treatment Information

Always follow the current product label, applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site restrictions. If a PestX response conflicts with a product label or legal requirement, follow the label and legal requirement.

Do not use PestX as the sole source for pesticide application rates, mixing instructions, protective equipment, reentry requirements, or treatment decisions. Verify these details against the current label for the exact product being used.

PestX is not an emergency service. For an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or poison control resource directly.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you provide and how you use the results. Use PestX lawfully and only submit information you are authorized to use.

Do not enter passwords, payment card information, patient information, or other sensitive personal information. Remove unnecessary identifying details from customer records before submitting them.

Do not use PestX to create false inspection findings, treatment records, certifications, or claims that work was completed when it was not.

No Automatic Business Actions

PestX assists with information and drafting. A response does not book an appointment, send a message, process a payment, update a customer account, or confirm that a service has been performed.

Drafted prices, proposals, warranties, and service descriptions do not create a binding agreement with Pest X LLC. Actual services are governed by the quote, contract, or written confirmation provided by Pest X LLC.

Privacy and ChatGPT

PestX does not transmit your conversations, uploaded files, or personal information to Pest X LLC or external services. Pest X LLC does not receive or store your conversations through the plugin.

Your use of ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI’s applicable terms, privacy policy, and your account settings. Pest X LLC does not control OpenAI’s services or data handling.

Ownership and Permitted Use

Pest X LLC retains its rights in its name, logo, and original plugin materials. Third-party product names, labels, and reference materials belong to their respective owners. Access through PestX does not transfer ownership of those materials.

You may use drafts generated through PestX for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to applicable rights and OpenAI’s terms. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting those drafts.

Availability and Changes

PestX may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features and availability may also depend on ChatGPT and OpenAI. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that any particular feature will remain available.

Disclaimers and Limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PestX is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pest X LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of PestX or reliance on its responses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms as PestX changes. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those terms.
