Local field note
Oakman sits in the southwest of Walker County and it is unusual in one obvious way, its town limits are drawn in a circle rather than a square, which is a small detail but a fair picture of a town that kept its own shape. The Stephenson House is the landmark most people know. For pest work, southwest Walker County behaves like the rest of the county with one difference worth naming, there is more open land between houses here, and open land means rodents move in from outside rather than only spreading house to house. Field mice and rats come in from the edges, squirrels work the tree line, and mosquitoes breed in the water that collects on rural ground. Inside town, the work tends to be roaches, ants and rodents in older housing with crawl spaces, and termites are a concern across the county on that same heavy clay soil.
What we handle
Rats and mice, squirrels, roaches, ants and carpenter ants, spiders, fleas, wasps, bed bugs, termites and mosquitoes. Rodent removal and exclusion for mice, rats and squirrels. No wildlife removal for raccoon, opossum or bats.
