Old Cordova Houses and the Pest Work They Need
Cordova was incorporated in 1897 and spent its first life as a textile mill town, which is why so much of the housing here is older and built in tight rows rather than on open lots. Two things follow from that. First, when homes sit close together, a rodent problem is rarely one house's problem, and treating a single yard without addressing the shared line is how a customer ends up calling back. Second, mill era houses in Cordova were not built with modern vapor management, so crawl spaces here hold damp longer, and damp wood is what feeds both termites and the silverfish, spiders and roaches that follow moisture. The Gilchrist House and the Long Mansion are the landmarks people know Cordova by, but the housing stock between them is what shapes the pest work.

Questions, answered
Cordova Pest Control FAQs
How much is pest control in Cordova?
$39 per month with a $125 initial fee on a 12 month contract, with an inside guarantee and free retreatment.
Why does my Cordova house keep getting roaches?
Older mill era homes hold moisture in crawl spaces, and damp wood attracts roaches, spiders and silverfish. Treatment works far better once the moisture is addressed too.
Do you treat termites in Cordova?
Yes. Termite quotes including the inspection are free, and a bound treatment with a repair bond is quoted after we look.
Do you do rodent exclusion?
Yes, for mice, rats and squirrels. Rodent boxes are $50 each.
Do you service the whole Cordova area?
Yes, Cordova and the surrounding Walker County communities.
